ESPRESSO WORKFLOW

Three things that matter in a grinder.

BURRS

Consistency first.

The burr geometry and size define how confidently you can dial espresso and repeat the result.

DOSING

Repeatable output.

Timed or programmed dosing helps keep your portafilter workflow consistent from shot to shot.

DAILY USE

Keep the chute clean.

Brush out retained grounds and keep the exit chute clear, especially when using oily or darker-roasted beans.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

How often should I clean the grinder?
Brush the chute and accessible coffee-contact areas regularly. Frequency depends on usage and bean oiliness; darker or oily beans generally require more frequent cleaning.
Why is my grinder suddenly dispensing less coffee?
Check for coffee buildup or a partially blocked chute before changing the timer dramatically. Compacted grounds can reduce output even when the timer has not changed.
Should I adjust the grind while coffee is in the grinder?
Follow the grinder's adjustment instructions. For espresso, make small changes and re-test rather than making large jumps.
